This project included first clearing
a large site in an existing housing development, the construction of a new 4.35
MGD Water Treatment Plant, as well as the construction of three (3) well houses
and conversion of three (3) existing test wells to production wells. The water
plant consisted of a biological iron removal treatment system, including
chemical feed systems, high service pumps and the BIR Pressure Filters. The
wells are designed for a capacity of 760 GPM. The project also included 1600 LF
of water main extension to connect into the existing distribution system.
