This project, which was performed
for the City of Philadelphia, included the construction of new Sodium
Hypochlorite Storage and Feed System at the Belmont Water Treatment Plant, just
off City Line Avenue in Philadelphia. The work included modifications to an
existing building, construction of a new Concrete Containment area where four
(4) new Steel Tanks were to be housed. Installation of New Pumps and Piping, as
well a considerable amount of underground Dual Containment HDPE Piping. There
was also a new masonry room which was constructed in the basement of another
existing building. where the new Control Stations were installed. New Doors were
installed on the Chemical Building and the entire structure was repainted.
